My mother hired a local contractor to build her house. Over a 3-year period, she spent a lot building that house. I finally went to Sierra Leone to view the house and what I discovered really saddened my mom: walls filled with sand because the contractor had sold large amounts of the cement that was to be mixed with the sand, bad plumbing work, substandard materials, and dangerous electrical work.
We have now hired SLS to help supervise, inspect, and provide regular updates on the work the new contractor is doing to fix all the problems with the house.
